Smart devices are everywhere!

But let’s just say that you have a website as most businesses do.  So then the next step is to answer these questions about your website:

  • Does it take more than 3 seconds to load on a mobile device?
  • Is your website easy to use on a tablet or smartphone?
  • How difficult is it to navigate around your website?
  • Do you have to scroll side to side to see all of your content or images?
  • Are you able to click on your navigation without having to zoom-in?

Mobile-Friendly Website Facts

Look, if you have to do anything other than using a thumb or finger to browse your website, you’re losing customers.  Let me re-emphasize that for you – if your website is not mobile-friendly, you’re losing a lot of money!

For example, ComScore conducts surveys and captures statistics on people’s online buying habits.  In 2013 ComScore states that 68% of Americans (18 -65+) use multiple devices to shop online.  In other words, people use a tablet or smartphone to browse or learn more and then return later on a laptop or desktop to buy.

By December 2015, the number of Americans using multiple devices to shop grew to 76%!  And I’m not even talking about the estimated 5 billion smartphone owners in the world projected by 2019.

But do you really need one?

In a word, absolutely!  Also noted in the ComScore study, of the Americans in the 18 – 30 age group, more than 25% used only a smartphone or tablet to do their online shopping.

So do you think it’s safe to assume that number will continue to grow over the next 5 or even 10 years?

Since we now know that to be true; is it also safe to assume that having a Mobile-Friendly Website is pretty damn important too?
