Secondly, you are either being flat-out lied to or they are seriously misinformed. So either way, give them your money and follow their advice at your own risk. Last but not least, I can tell you that it has never been easier to have your own business blog, etc.

But I’m not talking about just having a Facebook page or a listing on Yelp, here’s why…
Having a few web pages with a domain name is your central hub for all online marketing. And I’m talking about your own website, not something on Wix, Blogger, Blogspot or WordPress.com. In fact, I just created Increasing Blog Traffic – Charles Snyder Raw #104, addressing this very issue. However, I will tell you this; simply having a website is not enough.

So I can also share with you that having your own domain name has more than one advantage! Since any Content Management System (CMS) like WordPress makes it extremely easy to manage a website, it’s a no-brainer. If you can use Microsoft Word, you can also easily use WordPress too.

There’s really no excuse for delaying anymore, but you probably know this. You can register and purchase a domain name through services like GoDaddy. Better still, the domain names are pretty cheap and there are a lot of options for website hosting. So if your customers are anything like me, they’re skeptical of any business that doesn’t have a website!
