Selling Without Selling
Selling Without Selling
Selling Without Selling – Charles Snyder Raw #97. So I recorded this last evening, after a long day of training my brain. But I was tired, it was getting late and I was pretty darn hungry too. Some times when I’m feeding my brain I forget to feed my belly!

It’s hard to brain on an empty stomach!
Anyway, the training yesterday got me thinking about You Never Know Who’s Watching – Charles Snyder Raw #96. And more specifically, how I have approached making the sale for the past 20+ years. Or maybe much more appropriately, what I haven’t done.
Showing up with positive energy
First and foremost, you got to believe in what you’re doing. If you don’t believe in yourself, no potential customer ever will. So belief, conviction and confidence are keys to sending good verbal and non-verbal cues.
Secondly, your energy level will be mirrored by your customers. When you have a bad day and show up with intense negative energy, your prospect will reflect that too. So when you show up smiling and happy, your customer will be more positive too.
Which would you rather deal with?
The summary: show them you care
Since I could go on for quite a while, just remember those first two points and what I am about to share. Always be honest and come at the process from your customer’s point of view. So just remember that most people don’t care unless they know what’s in it for them.
In summary, have the belief that you can make their life better and be honest about it. Take some time to form more than just a superficial relationship. Show up with positive energy, address the process as what’s in it for them and the rest will fall into place.
In other words, show them that you care. About them as human beings, about their business too. Because as the saying goes; no one cares what you know until they know that you care.
