Since SEO or Search Engine Optimization can be rather confusing, here are some easy tips anyone can use right now.

SEO Key Ingredients

First and most importantly, use just one main idea or topic per web page.  Likewise, use just one main keyword or keyword phrase related to the idea or topic of each page.  You can use several variations of the keyword or phrase. Since your pages and posts should be a minimum of 300 words, using a few synonyms too, isn’t a bad idea.

For example, my agency’s Digital Marketing Services page focuses on just one topic – Digital Marketing Services. So it’s no coincidence that the keyword phrase we used is identical to our single concept for the page.

We used our focus keyword phrase in the title of the web page as well as the web address.  Also, we used our focus keyword phrase in the heading, the sub-headings, in the content and even with the images.  It is also a good idea to use the keyword or phrase in any text-links going to that page.  All of which helps boost our SEO score and search engine placement.

Yes there is a lot more to SEO than what we covered here, but this is just to get you started.  Using these simple and easy but effective tips can make a big difference.  So don’t sleep on this one – SEO is an integral part of your continued business success!
