Huge Traffic Without Spending?
Huge Traffic Without Spending?
Huge Traffic Without Spending – Charles Snyder Raw #107. So I cannot even begin to estimate how many times I’ve seen this kind of question. Everybody and I do mean almost everybody is looking to do something on the cheap. Since so many people fail to understand that marketing and advertising in an investment, I will attempt to put it in perspective (again).

Reality-check, please!
This is the original question sent to us:
“How can I bring huge traffic to my newly started blog without spending any money?“
Dilip
And now a reality check
My answer to his question is pretty simple; it takes a lot of work and it’s also going to take a long time! As in a long time like a year or more and you better be doing some damn good blogging. So if you’re inexperienced, then it’s going to take even longer while you earn your chops.
What I mean by that is also pretty simple. Since you have a new blog, it’s likely very few people even know about you. In other words, if nobody knows you exist, the problem is that nobody knows your blog exists too. So can you see where I am going with this yet?
Huge Traffic Without Spending? Yeah, right.
Basically, you have four options:
- Spend money on marketing and advertising
- Do a lot of work over the course of a year or more to START getting traffic to your blog
- Do a combination of #1 & #2 above
- Forget about your pipe dreams of money for nothing; go work for someone that understands the value of marketing and advertising.
First, the only way you’re going to accomplish that is by either spending money on marketing or doing a lot of self-promotion. Since you want to do this the hard way without spending any money, you’re going to need to do a lot of promotion. And I do mean a lot over the course of a year or more!
You’re also going to need to do a lot of blogging, guest blogging, and being a guest blogger. Google and other great sources on blogging strongly suggest blogging no less than twenty (20) times per month. So I can also tell you that is for 18 or more months just to get started.
Another dose of reality
But I’m only just scratching the surface so far. You’ll also need to get on social media and start promoting there too. So that means posting your content on a business or public figure page.
Also, that means that you’ll need to join groups and add value to their communities. And adding value means quite a bit more than saying “hey, visit my blog” or “buy my stuff”! Because if you spam groups and forums with “Hey, buy my shit.” all the time, you’ll just end up getting banned.
