Blogging Boosts SEO โ€“ Charles Snyder Raw #127.ย  I hope you had a great weekend because Iโ€™m ready to get things cracking today!ย  Since Iโ€™m now feeling much better than I have been and my voice is back โ€“ itโ€™s time to start creating more content.ย  So my topic today is all about content and how it can help you improve your marketing.

Blogging Boosts SEO - Charles Snyder Raw #127: It's unscripted, unplanned and uncooked!

Blog often!

As I shared in SEO Without Content โ€“ Charles Snyder Raw #92, you cannot hope to properly do SEO without any content.ย  You need to create content and you need to do it regularly for it to do any good. But having some content to perform SEO on is only just the beginning.

Some astounding facts

First, Hubspot says that websites with frequent new blogs can average 55% more traffic than websites without a blog!ย  And as I have shared before, active blogs average 434% more indexed pages and 97% more inbound links!

Secondly, according to Statista, about 75% of all Internet users around the world read blogs. So yes, it is highly likely that your audience will read your blog posts too! But if you want them to keep coming back to your website and buying from you, you better be blogging 20x time or more per month.

Thirdly, according to Ledgeview Partners, 95% of buyers buy from someone who gave them content at every step of the buyerโ€™s journey. Also, according to Google, 90% of all web pages get zero traffic from their search engine results. And according to Ahrefs, that is mostly due to a lack of content.

Blogging Boosts SEO: in summary

When you create and publish content consistently, you bring search engine spiders from Google, Bing, and Yahoo back more often.ย  And the easiest way to come up with ideas is by taking questions from your audience. But the best practice by far is creating a content marketing plan.

Also, when you regularly answer questions from your audience, you are adding value.ย  There is value in informative content and your audience receives value in the form of getting answers.ย  So I feel that qualifies as a win-win situation and that creates more opportunities to turn visitors into customers.ย  Or better still, itโ€™s an opportunity for you to turn someone into a fan, which has far more value!

Even as Google states in its Search Engine Optimization Start Guide, your website should serve your visitorโ€™s needs.ย  But you need to create and publish content in order for SEO to matter.ย  So to put it simply, content creation is good and doing so regularly is the best practice.
