Undies and Hard Drives
Undies and Hard Drives – Charles Snyder Raw #35. Kind of an odd title for a kind of odd episode. But as you will soon see, this article and video are not entirely devoid of value. However, that’s also not saying that my fiance’, Ann won’t want to kill me for this.
So anyway, after my not-so-good experiences with Seagate external hard drives, I had a look around for alternatives. But just in case you missed it, I cover that in several previous articles and videos. Starting with the installment Drawing A Blank – Charles Snyder Raw #25.
And then I went shopping
Since my external drive was a piece of crap, I began looking for a better solution. So I ended up on one of the online stores, checking out several different brands. Toshiba, Western Digital, and Samsung are just some of the brands I did my research on.
But at the same time, I also did some shopping for Ann, for her upcoming birthday. So I was looking at other sundries and undies too. Ann didn’t specify much other than she wanted panties for her birthday, so I put the order in for some “interesting” panties.
As a result, she was OK with my selections and thankful for the gifts. However, as shy as she is, she wouldn’t be happy with me if she saw this video. But it was worth it for a few chuckles.
Undies and Hard Drives: Final thoughts
In summary, when it comes to most things in life, you get what you pay for. And if it has “Made In China” on it, you can rest assured that it is junk. So when it comes to computers and electronics, if it’s not made in the USA, I’ll pay a little more for it to be made in Japan.
For example, in 2016 I built a new production computer for my agency and personal use. But instead of trying to build something that won’t last using Chinese components, I bought quality parts. I had to spend a few hundred dollars extra, but it is a solid machine, with zero issues.
