I Think Iโm Sick
I Think Iโm Sick
I Think Iโm Sick โ Charles Snyder Raw #36. Today I feel like crap. Iโm feeling cold, achy, and I have a splitting headache. But so what, I have a business to run and things wonโt get done if I donโt work. So maybe Iโll do some work and then take a rest this afternoon.
I feel yucky!
In other words, these videos donโt edit themselves. These articles donโt write themselves either. In fact, there is a long list of things that simply wonโt be done if I skip a day. And Iโm sure there are a lot of other business owners that are in the same situation.
Some semi-coherent thoughts
So Iโm warning you, I ramble on for a bit in the video today. But I do make it clear that I am happy its Friday. Not that the weekend means squat to small business owners.
Anyway, the takeaway here is that many owners of small businesses are in the same boat. If you donโt show up for work today, whoโs running your business? Whoโs making the sales, servicing the customers, and delivering on expectations?
I said it before; if you donโt have someone on your staff with that job title, itโs your job as the owner. In other words, if you donโt have someone in your organization with the job title of janitor, guess who the janitor is.
I Think Iโm Sick, but Iโll do some work anyway
Regardless, I am working on getting a few things done today and this afternoon Iโll rest. But with that in mind, I have a few questions for you. Specifically, what is your contingency plan if you get sick or injured and are unable to work?
