Build Human Relationships - Charles Snyder Raw #82: It's unscripted, unplanned and uncooked!

Build Human Relationships

Build Human RelationshipsCharles Snyder Raw #82.  Since the past two weeks have been a mess, this episode finally puts me close to being back on schedule.  Well to be honest, for the most part anyway.  So to keep things moving right along, I take another question sent to us on Quora and it’s a familiar one.

But first, here’s the original question sent to us:

“How can I find link creators for my blog or website?”

‘Maya’

Public relations and elbow grease

So this time around I dive a little deeper into the people side of link-building. Also, I dig into the most important aspect of blogging and link-building; great content that people want to consume, like, and share. Without a foundation of great content, everything else is simply ten, one hundred or even a thousand times harder!

But on the other hand, I do go off on a bit of a tangent because someone suggests buying links. Since Google especially and other search engines are punishing websites for buying or selling links; this isn’t a good idea. So enough said on that; don’t do it.

Build Human Relationships: earn those links!

However, there is a multitude of ways to earn links from others. Here are just a few articles and videos that I cover related to this topic:

Anyway, according to Google, backlinks are kind of like editorial votes. The more votes (i.e. links), the more valuable the content and the higher the search engine ranking. But you earn those links by creating great content and developing relationships with other bloggers and website owners.

Since public relations is an integral part of what I am talking about, it’s in your best interest to develop friendships. But you do have to put in some work to make it happen. Because buying links will only get your website banned by Google sooner or later.

PLEASE NOTE: I no longer answer questions like Build Human Relationships on Quora.  There are no checks and balances in place for the rampant censorship by some moderators.  And to make matters worse, inquiries about the anonymous censorship that goes on there have yet to see any reply.  Since that is the case, I will continue to help others, I just won’t be wasting my time on that website.  So Say Goodbye Quora!
