August 2021 Updates – News & Announcements.

Since 30 July, we’ve been working on moving into our new home (see July 2021 Updates). Moving is time-consuming. So is setting up a new home office. We’ve been painting, fixing stuff, and all of the other fun things that come with buying a new home.

But it’s worth it because now we have a bigger home office that we can move around in. However, I still need to get some office furniture, not the least of which is a bigger office desk. Now if I could only get more time to actually do some work in it.

Also during the past month, I’ve started working on some new content. But more on that later. Let’s take a look at what we did finish since last month.

August 2021 Updates: refreshing content

Our content refresh program has been an ongoing project since September of 2019. We’ve done a lot of editing to most of the articles and all associated videos too. But there’s still a lot of work to be done.

However, our priority has been shifting from content in general to getting more customers since May 2021. But even so, we are still doing some of the refresh work, it’s just not as high on our to-do list right now. So the reason for more customers also includes the ability to create more new content as well.

Deployment delays

In addition to the normal day-to-day stuff, I now find myself once again delayed as I am currently deployed to Louisiana in response to Hurricane Ida. The notice came a few days before the end of August and I have been very busy ever since. For example, this article being published nearly 2 weeks later than was intended.

So that also means that everything else will be pushed back several weeks to a month or more. Which includes an effort to promote our software and service, ROI Ninjas. Specifically, we ran into an issue during a recent upgrade as we ready our platform for wider testing.

August 2021 Updates: more to come in September

Depending on how long I am down here in Louisiana, I will continue to work on some new content. But that depends on mission needs here as well as how much free time is available. So far, there hasn’t been much opportunity as we are only just beginning the recovery process.

However, as time goes on, things should begin to settle into a routine here. At that time I will begin working on some new content and publishing it. As time permits, of course.
