Stuff Will Break โ My Personal Brand #4. So if there is one constant in life, it is that things will break and go wrong from time to time. Unfortunately, thereโs no avoiding it and we have to deal with it. Since Iโm not exempt from that reality, I bet you canโt guess what Iโve been dealing withโฆ
Somethingโs not right hereโฆ
First of all, yesterday I published Branding Inspiration โ My Personal Brand #3. All seemed right in the world. So the sun was shining, the birds were singing and I pushed the publish button around noon time.
I then went about working on the new public-facing page for the Marketing Ninja Weekly Kicks Club on Facebook. But little did I know that there was a gremlin hard at work, fouling up our program.

So after a full day of working on our new Facebook page and some other marketing stuff, I check my site stats to see how things are going. But that was when I noticed that there wasnโt any traffic to the new post. Since there is always at least some traffic to new content, I knew then and there that something wasnโt right.
First, I checked to make sure that the post actually published on our agency website. Since it was showing up on our business blog, I then checked our Facebook Business Page. But it wasnโt there and that definitely means that there is a problem!
Second I started looking at our syndication tools. I found that there was indeed a problem with our Jetpack module (a WordPress plugin). So now I am an unhappy camper, trying to troubleshoot the issue without any luck so far.
Stuff Will Break, have a backup plan!
As a result, I now have to publish our links manually, for the time being. At least until I can diagnose the problem and find a solution. Fun stuff!
Anyway, I will have more great content published soon, itโs just going to take us a little longer. So hang in there and have a wonderful day!
