My Laptop Crapped Out
My Laptop Crapped Out
My Laptop Crapped Out – Charles Snyder Raw #73. So this past week I have been recording “Raw” videos every day. But the problem was that I was unable to do any video editing, much less publish any articles.

Thanks for nothing!
Since last Monday, I have been working on fixing that issue, but now I am back. So, I recorded this extra episode yesterday to explain what’s been happening for the past week. But the rest of the articles and videos will also be published once I get them edited, rendered, and uploaded as well.
So here is my brief background story to the next several articles and videos.
It’s dead, Jim!
First, forgive the Star Trek reference, but I just had to slip that in there. But just like the no-named, red-shirt crewmen from that 1960s TV series, my laptop was just as dead. Thanks entirely to Microsoft and their latest brain-dead updates that stopped me in my tracks!
Secondly, when I called their “customer service” number to resolve the issue, let’s just say it was a waste of time. Since the conversation basically went from “how can I help” to “buy Windows 10.” No research, no digging into the issue, just “you can fix it with buying a newer operating system.”
Last but not least, the guy’s accent was horrible, I could barely understand him. I seriously doubt that “Uncle” Billy and his company hire locally in the U.S., so that’s strike three. Forcing people to upgrade, a complete lack of customer support and shipping jobs overseas.
My Laptop Crapped Out, but I’m back!
If only we could roll back the hands of time to when computers (reliably) ran on BASIC and DOS… *SIGH* Those were the days! But those were also the days before the Internet, social media and online marketing.
So that was then and this is now. As a result, now I need to get busy and finish working on a week of content! Which is a challenge in and of itself, but I’m also on deployment. So things can change on a moment’s notice.
Anyway, I’ll do what I can, when I can. Peace.
