Marketing A Book Online
Marketing A Book Online – Charles Snyder Raw #104. Since answering questions from our audience has worked out great, I decided to cover another one. So as you may have guessed, today’s episode is about helping to market an author’s latest published piece.

Promote, promote, promote!
Devon wants to know:
“What is the best way to market a book online?“
Devon
Start with these simple ideas
So here’s my answer; define who your audience is and craft a message that resonates with them. Once you have figured that out, the marketing part gets a hell of a lot easier! I have heard this called a buyer persona as well as a customer avatar. Whatever you want to call them, it doesn’t matter as long as you define one or more.
Since I am assuming that you do not have a publisher, I will also add that you need to promote the hell out of your book! So that means that you will have to reach out to publications, magazines, podcasts and so on in order to get in front of their audiences. But going back to the customer avatar work you have done, knowing which publications, newspapers, magazines, etc. to contact is 80% of the battle.
Also, don’t underestimate the power of live-streaming on social media and creating videos about your book. This can create a goldmine of video content that can be used in your marketing and advertising too.
