Labor Day 2018 Updates – Charles Snyder Raw #131.  So how was your Labor Day Weekend?  Did you spend it with family and friends or working on your business?  I did a little bit of both, but let me know in the comments section below!

I’ve been feeling kind of under the weather ever since returning home from the Philippines.  As a result, I am behind on content creation and publishing it, especially the newest 1 Minute Marketing Tips.  So I did what was necessary to get caught back up, I was working all weekend on it.

Also, I put some time into developing our premium content.  Which we are still looking at release dates for. But more on that later when we have a better idea of what’s what and when.

But first, a rant

Anyway, sickness and delays aside, I want to share some thoughts I had earlier today.  Particularly, I want you to really think about what some of these so-called ‘gurus’ are telling you.  I feel they are doing you a great disservice or outright lying about their “3 Easy Steps to Millions” etc.

But you never see them talking about the work and the sacrifices it takes to make your first big win.  Every single story I have ever seen talks about how successful people need 10 years or more to get noticed.

For example, my favorite band, Journey was playing music since the early 70s, but they never hit it big until after 1980.  Wil Smith made a lot of sacrifices before his music and acting careers took off. And there are hundreds if not thousands of examples more that all follow the same pattern of ten or more years until they all hit pay dirt.

Look, all I am saying is that those people fill your head with false expectations.  Just remember that if you’re not finding success in the first year in business, remember you have 9 more to go.  Most people will go out of their way to avoid that truth.  Don’t be one of them!
