It’s Been A Busy Day
It’s Been A Busy Day – Charles Snyder Raw #75. First, I have had almost a full week of busy days. I originally recorded this video last Tuesday as I was working on getting my laptop working again. So as you will soon see in my video today, I had high hopes of getting things fixed rather quickly.
However in reality, things didn’t work out that way and I’ve been working on catching up ever since.

Just when I thought I could relax…
But as you now know, fixing my laptop didn’t quite pan out the way I wanted it to. Since I was able to finally fix my laptop Friday and Saturday, I’ve been working on getting back on track. But my busy schedule aside, I’m still working on getting my software re-installed.
But the moral of the story is…
So the moral of my story is that you should have a back-up plan, just in case stuff doesn’t work. In this case, my laptop crapped the bed on me, but I was at least able to record more video content. Since I travel a lot, it’s not always feasible for me to carry a third laptop, but carrying two or more options for recording is doable.
However, I will say that when I am traveling for business or personal reasons, I do have a second laptop with me. But on the other hand, when I am on deployment, I have to carry my government-issued laptop. So I only bring one personal laptop along with me.
It’s Been A Busy Day, time for more work!
In a nutshell, when practical, have a back-up plan and equipment just in case there is a problem. And you need to be prepared to use both. Because sooner or later there will be a problem! You just never know when.
As a result, you’ll be ready for when stuff breaks. Because sooner or later, everything breaks and you can either waste the entire day or you can be ready for it. So it doesn’t hurt to test your backups, plus you’ll become more familiar with it.
