Develop Customer Avatars
Develop Customer Avatars – Charles Snyder Raw #113. Since we are receiving a large number of questions from our fans, I’m reaching into our “mailbag” again for today’s episode. And it’s a familiar question that we see a lot. But I’m sure there’s still business owners that want to know how to drive more website traffic.

Put it on paper!
So here’s the question I am answering today:
“How can I increase the effective traffic of my website?”
Laura
Good question, here’s some insight
First thing is that you need to define who your audience is before you can ever create effective content. So knowing a few things about your ideal customer is critical for crafting a message that resonates with them. Since then and only then will you be able to create great content that matters to your defined audience.
So next, you will need to answer questions about your ideal customer, like gender, age, and maybe even education. Do they live in a certain city, zip code, region, or state? What are some of their particular interests, hobbies, organization memberships, etc.? Are they single or married or do they have children, widowed or divorced?
But I share with you this, the better you define your customer avatars, the better you will be at creating content for them. You will also see more effective traffic coming to your website and your offers. And then more of the right people will see your offers as well as making more sales.
Develop Customer Avatars: final thoughts
So here’s another exercise that I highly recommend doing before creating any more content. Take out a piece of paper and write down who your ideal customer is. Make a list of the attributes of your target audience, give them a fictitious name and if you like, give them a picture too.
My point here being is that the more you put into defining who your ideal customers are, the more likely you are to be successful in getting their attention. And their business. Plus it’ll go a long way in your marketing and advertising efforts as well.
