Collecting Quality Backlinks – Charles Snyder Raw #94. First let me just say that we see this kind of question at least a dozen or more times a week. So what I mean is it seems that there is a great deal of misunderstanding when it comes to SEO and link-building.
It takes a four-letter word: W-O-R-K!
But first, here’s the original question:
“How do I collect high quality backlinks for SEO?”
Since I have answered this sort of question many times, many ways; I’m taking a different approach today. In fact, I see so very little of practical short-term solutions, that’s where I am going in this episode. Finally, I also add a small dose of reality in my response for good measure.
Earning high-quality back-links
First you start of by creating great content that people want to see. The better your content is, the easier it will be to get those elusive links. But it’s all about developing relationships and partnerships with the people that can give you those links.
Secondly, this goes hand-in-hand with building relationships; you have to have brand awareness. So the problem is if no one knows you exist, the problem is that no one knows that you exist. You must hustle and get your public relations on in order to let people know about your content, etc.
Last but not least, I also cover using marketing to raise awareness or brand-building. For example, our agency runs brand awareness campaigns which has gotten our company seen over 1,000,000 times on Facebook alone. We’re starting to do the same on YouTube with a handful of subscribers and fast approaching 5,000 views!
PLEASE NOTE: I no longer answer questions like Collecting Quality Backlinks on Quora. There are no checks and balances in place for the rampant censorship by some moderators. And to make matters worse, inquiries about the anonymous censorship that goes on there have yet to see any reply. Since that is the case, I will continue to help others, I just won’t be wasting my time on that website. So Say Goodbye Quora!
