When visitors leave comments on our site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it.  The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here:  After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

When visitors use the contact form on our site we collect the data shown in the contact form as well as IP address to help spam detection.

Data from the form such as your email address is later used to contact you in regards to your message, if needed.  So your data is stored securely and may be used at a later date for sending you related information too.

4. Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies.  These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment.  These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies.  This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices.  Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year.  If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks.  If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Our website uses several solutions for tracking website usage anonymously and do not store any of your personal information.  Details such as IP address, country, web browser, screen resolution, etc. are collected.  Other data such as where you visited our site from, what pages you view and how long you view them are also collected anonymously.

Since we also heavily utilize social media, some personal data may be tracked and captured if you are logged into any of those sites.  This mainly consists of Facebook, Google+, Instagram and YouTube.  So this information may be used in developing audience insights as well as marketing.

By default, we do not share your personal data with anyone at any time for any reason.  Unless compelled to do so legally.  However, all financial transactions data is securely handled via payment gateways by third-party providers.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely.  This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.  So the same also applies to anyone using our contact form.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile.  All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except you cannot change your username).  Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

For users that register for our newsletters, premium content or services, we also store the personal data indefinitely.  However each recipient may elect to remove themselves from such lists at any time.

9. What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.  You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.  This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor comments and contact form submissions will be checked through an automated spam detection service.  All subscriptions and premium content access requests are handled through third-party service providers that must also comply with GDPR.

Our agency website is protected by standard SSL encryption on all pages.  This means any page that you visit is secure and the session is unique to you.  No information may be intercepted or viewed between transmission between our servers and your computer or device.  SSL also prevents the tampering with any information as it is transmitted between you and our website.

Our site has also earned McAfee SECURE Certification for zero malicious links, zero malware, zero phishing and having a valid SSL Certificate.
