Kind of like dating, your marketing and ads need to build a relationship first. Also like dating, you have to build a certain level of trust before you’ll get the sale. So don’t “turn-off” your potential customers before you have the opportunity to build something better. And make more money too!
Build relationships that last
People are much more likely to do business with a friend than they are to ever give money to a stranger. Additionally, an average of 67% of adults will “stalk” you and your competition before they ever buy. So it is up to you to nurture and build a relationship with them.
But you may be thinking right about now, wondering where to start and how to begin. Because relationships are not easy, they take time to develop, and they don’t always work out. However, the alternative is to quit now and go find yourself a job working for someone else.
So the easiest way to start building trust and earning their business is to help others. Stalk your potential “stalkers” where they are and offer free advice on how to solve their problems. Because when you make them feel better, smarter, and/or make their life easier, they are much more likely to buy from you in the future.

In addition to stalking your stalkers, there are more ways to develop and earn respect. Another great way to accomplish that is to publish content. As in on your website, blog, and social media pages.
Also, you can start a newsletter or an emailing list. Or you can even have your own private group or bulletin board. So it doesn’t really matter what it is as long as you do something with this knowledge.
