Are Back-Links Still Relevant?
Are Back-Links Still Relevant?
I have been getting a lot of questions about SEO strategies for link-building lately. One such question sent to us, asked “Are back-links still relevant?” Another question asked “How often should I do back-linking?” And the best one so far today asks “Does little content on pages affect SEO?”
To answer these questions and more, I dive into what Google has to say on the matter. In fact, I refer back to my previous video Are Directory Listings Still Helpful For SEO? too. Much of the information in that article and video apply here as well. Yes, back-links are still relevant today and they will be well into the future. Yes, you should be creating some of your own back-links every time you create content. But most important of all, having little or no content is a bad thing!
Back-links are very important. So is SEO. But the point that far too many people miss is that YOU HAVE TO HAVE CONTENT. Good content that people want to consume, like, share and best of all, link to. If you don’t have content that sells, everything else is a waste of time!

There’s a lot more where that came from
